Chula Vista Fire Detectives were investigating a fire Sunday night that burned down five RVs and one concrete vehicle Saturday night.
Battalion Chief Chris Manroe told the media that his station received an emergency call around 4 p.m.
He said the fire was consuming one vehicle, but by the time firefighters showed up, the fire was already engulfing three RVs.
During the operation to contain the fire, the fire quickly reached other parked RVs right away and the concrete vehicle.
The CVFD has not reported fatalities.
The accident occurred in the 1500 block of West Frontage Road, parallel to Interstate 5 South, where East Frontage becomes Anita Street.
Manroe said the place is a junkyard, where people live; they give testimonies to find out how the fire started.
