Four people were transported to the hospital late Saturday evening after a collision involving two men and two women believed to be caused by driving under the influence.
According to Police, all four passengers sustained injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. The two men, 20 and 22 each drove with a female passenger, 19 and 20, when the collision occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m at the intersection of Telegraph Canyon Road and Paseo Ladera. Police said First Responders had cut into one of the vehicles to release one woman trapped at the scene.
Their cars, a Honda Civic and a Volkswagen Passat were heavily damaged by the collision. According to OnScene TV, an engine block from one of the vehicles could be seen on one of the roadway as debris filled the streets.
