The Chula Vista Civic Center Library will be hosting a weekend of free entertainment with “Chula Vista’s Got Talent”, presented by Victory Arts.
Chula Vista’s Got Talent is set to take place on March 4 beginning at 2:30 p.m, showcasing a variety of local singers, dancers, and musicians such as Sance Force, MPulse, Divisionary, Alexi Ayer, Chloe Grace Cruz, and Gwyneth Lutovsky.
Additionally, there will be a presentation on March 5 at 2:30 p.m. of “Viva Chula Vista!” by Teatro San Diego featuring vibrant multicultural world-class performances that will bring the diverse flavor of the South Bay to life with song and dance.
Chula Vista’s Got Talent and Viva Chula Vista! are made possible in part by the City of Chula Vista and the Create Chula Vista Arts Grant. Victory Arts has presented other free events in Chula Vista such as the Totally NutzCrackers holiday event at Memorial Park Bowl.
According to city officials, Victory Arts’ mission is to forward the conservation of live theatre, music, and digital presentations by inspiring people to create and perform new works in underserved communities.
Chula Vista residents are invited to participate in this weekend's celebration of local performers while gaining a deeper understanding of the community.
The Civic Center Library is located at 365 F Street, Chula Vista. Admission is free and registration is not required. Doors open at 2:20 p.m. and both shows will begin at 2:30 p.m. Each show will last approximately 75 minutes with no intermission.
