Legoland California unveiled a miniature version of America’s Finest City on Thursday, becoming the third city in California to be featured in “Miniland U.S.A”.
Some of San Diego’s most iconic buildings ad events are reconstructed in LEGO Brick form. Miniland San Diego includes Petco Park, the Convention Center, Hotel Del Coronado, the county fair, and more. According to park officials, more than 5 million LEGO bricks were used to create this miniature city.
Miniland San Diego includes nearly 4,000 Minilanders who will populate the new LEGO city.
“San Diego is one of America’s most beautiful destinations filled with incredible architecture, landscapes, and history – making it an obvious choice when selecting the next city to add to Miniland U.S.A,” President of LEGOLAND California Resort Kurt Stocks said in a statement
San Diego now joins the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, and New York in being featured in Miniland U.S.A.
