Amps & Ales return to Chula Vista's heart this month to showcase local and international brews, bites, and beats, presented by Grasshopper hosted by the Downtown Chula Vista Association.
Third Avenue will be lined with unlimited tastings on Sept. 17 with over 30 local and international breweries, distilleries, wineries, and local food vendors. Tickets are available now for $45 for general admission from 1p.m through 4 p.m. and $60 for VIP access from 12 p.m. through 4 p.m.
This year’s music lineup includes a mix of latin, reggae, soul funk and will be headlined by BSide Players.
“Chula Vista’s craft brewery scene has seen a huge increase over the last several years,” said Dominic Li Mandri, District Manager of the Downtown Chula Vista Association. “As the second largest city in the county, this event not only showcases the incredible brewers, but also allows the community to taste some award-winning brews from Chula Vista’s finest. ”.
Over 8 breweries and tap rooms call Third Avenue home, including Bar Sin Nombre, Chula Vista Brewery, Groundswell Brewing, The Balboa South, The Vogue Tavern, Third Avenue Alehouse, Thr3e Punk Ales, and the newest addition to the avenue, ATTITUDE Brewing Co.
