The Chula Vista Public Library announced the Create Chula Vista Arts Grant with award amounts up to $10,000 per project to develop public art projects throughout the city.

The grant is designated for artists, arts groups, and local businesses and it is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. It aims to support local artists that were impacted by the loss of the annual Performing and Visual Arts Grant during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Individual artists, arts organizations, and small businesses are encouraged to apply. Award recipients will be awarded through an ongoing competitive application process while funds last.

The Create Chula Vista Awards Grant guidelines and application can be found on the library website at https://www.chulavistaca.gov/departments/library/cultural-arts/cultural-arts-grant-application.
