Grasshopper Dispensary is holding a toy drive for the local nonprofit organization Toys for Tots with the goal of collecting over 1,000 toys for children throughout San Diego county.
The “Hop on in with a toy” drive will be held through Dec.18 at 376 Trousdale Drive in Chula Vista where unwrapped toy donations can be dropped off any time during business hours 7 days a week.
“All kids deserve toys and a happy holiday. We are driven by the desire to serve the youth of our community. We noticed our wonderful customers wanting to give back during the holidays, so we created a toy drop-off box. The response has been overwhelming with a constant stream of patrons dropping off toys. We never expected such an amazing amount of support from our neighbors,” General Manager David Guillent shares.
Anyone gifting a toy will receive a complimentary present from Grasshopper.
"Your generous gift of an unwrapped toy this holiday season will bring joy to a less fortunate child in our community. Thank you,” Chula Vista Councilmember Jill Galvez said.
Grasshopper Dispensary opened it’s Chula Vista storefront on April 20,2021 as the first legal commercial operation in the City. The services offered by Grasshopper are available to recreational customers 21 years and older and medical patients 18 years and older throughout the South Bay.
