A 28-year-old man was fatally shot in National City on Saturday near El Toyon Park and the National City Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in locating suspects.
National City Police identified Caleb Darryl Stacy, a San Diego resident, as the victim of multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds on U Avenue near El Toyon park. According to NCPD Detective Sgt. Vincent Fernando, officers administered emergency first aid to the victim and was immediately transported to a local trauma center where he was later pronounced dead.
A description of the suspect was not immediately available.
This incident is still under investigation by the NCPD.
