Fans have waited two years to see Monster Jam and Monster Energy Supercross return and it arrived at San Diego Petco Park.

The event is back in town after two years of Covid-19 delays. Thousands of attendees are expected to witness the Monster Jam and Monster Energy Supercross event featuring high-flying jumps, competitions and races.

Petco Park, which is known as the Padre’s ballpark, is experiencing a new look as mounds of dirt and ramps are laid out as the foundation to customize the event, which will be held over the weekend:

  • Saturday, Jan. 15 – Pit Party at 2:30 p.m., gates open at 4:30 p.m., event starts at 7 p.m.
  • Sunday Jan. 16 – Pit Party at 11:30 a.m., gates open at 1 p.m., event starts at 3 p.m

Drivers of 12,000 lb trucks will battle against one another in three competitions throughout Saturday and on Sunday, dirt-bikes are expected to ride on an entirely different course.

You can get San Diego Monster Jam tickets online via Ticketmaster. As of Saturday afternoon, there are tickets still available at $57 across various sections.

Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test is not required and masks are “strongly recommended” for those who are unvaccinated. Masks will be available at any Guest Service location around the stadium.
