The Chula Vista Public Library is among dozens of other libraries throughout San Diego County that will offer Museum Passes to grant half-of admissions in celebration of the 34th San Diego Museum Month.
During San Diego Museum Month, admissions are half-priced to over 60 participating San Diego County Museums, historical sites, gardens, zoos, aquariums, and more. San Diego County residents or visitors may pick up free Museum Month Passes beginning Jan.26 at more than 75 public libraries county-wide to obtain the special offer.
Each Museum Month Pass may be used through Feb. 28 for half-priced admissions.
“Museum Month is all about getting out and exploring everything that San Diego has to offer,” said San Diego Museum Council Executive Director Bob Lehman in a press release. “Whether you’re a local or a visitor, you’ll always find something new each year – from a new exhibition to a hidden neighborhood gem, as well as fun ideas for family day trips or date-night destinations. In addition to the dozens of venues offering half-off admissions in February, we will be showcasing the many museums that are free year-round, so there really is something for everyone.”
According to the San Diego Museum Council, an estimated 100,000 people participated in Museum Month last year.
