Disneyland announced the return of its Half Marathon weekend for the first time in more than six years at the Anaheim theme park next year.
The Disney Half Marathon Weekend event is slated for January 11-24, 2024, and will include three endurance events, a challenge, and more. Organizers say more details about the race course, medals and more will come out in the following months.
The Half Marathon Weekend will be the first Disneyland event since 2017.
Registration begins mid-February for the Jan. 11-14, 2024, "runDisney Race." The event will feature 5K and 10K races.
As the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend returns, runDisney will also be reintroducing the runDisney Coast to Coast Race Challenge in 2024. More information will be available later this month.
Organizers say there will be races offered at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in November of this year and January, February and April of next year.
