The San Diego County Office of Emergency Services (OES) is asking the public to help in estimating the flood and rain damage throughout the region caused by recent storms.
People whose property or small business was damaged by storms between Dec. 29, 2022 and Jan. 17, 2023 are asked to complete a damage survey form. This will outline the extent of the damage.
According to the county OES, the data collected through the survey will assist in determining how much damage the county experienced and if the damage will qualify the region for disaster assistance.
County officials said Completing the form does not guarantee the region or the property owner will be eligible to receive disaster assistance. For additional information, visit sdcountyrecovery.com or email RecoverySanDiego@sdcounty.ca.gov.
