Alberto Marquez, 54, suffered a fatal gunshot wound on Friday during a loud argument among several people at a Chula Vista home.
Police say they attempted to perform life saving measures, but Marquez was eventually taken to a hospital by paramedics where he was later pronounced dead. The shooting occurred around Agua Tibia Avenue near L street at approximately 1:30 p.m.
A loud argument took place among Marquez and several people inside the home. Witnesses heard gunshots at some point according to Police. A dark-colored sedan was named as a potential vehicle used by the suspect to flee the scene, but a detailed description was not made available.
