A Chula Vista Resident was recently elected as president of the 2023 executive officers and board of directors for the Southern California Rental Housing Association.

Aiesha Blevins will lead the Southern California Rental Housing Association, the region’s leading trade association serving the rental housing industry. Additional officers include Vice President Todd Henderson; Secretary Natasha Howell; Treasurer Buck Buchanan; Legislative Chair Allison Pfister; and Immediate Past President Lucinda Lilley.

“We’re fortunate to have a dynamic and engaged board,” said Alan Pentico, executive director of the Southern California Rental Housing Association in a Jan. 10 press release. “With their guidance, our members will continue to get the resources they need to fulfill the mission of quality housing for all.”

Belvins has volunteered with the Association since 2013 and has served as an Events Committee member, Mark of Excellence Co-Chair, and Secretary. She has also served as treasurer on the Executive Board and got to work closely with her predecessor, Lucinda Lilley, alongside other colleagues.

As president of the association, Belvins said she will focus on the “continued development of our next generations of leaders in a manner that serves our strategic plan and allows for a diverse representation in membership and volunteers”.

“I am excited about the year ahead and the opportunity to lead our industry at this time. We have the power to make 2023 a great year, and I look forward to working with you in the new year,” Belvins wrote in a press release.
