San Diego Police arrested a 38-year-old man on Sunday in connection to Jamacha-Lomita area stabbings, killing two, and injuring one when a fight broke out in the residence earlier that morning. 

According to San Diego Police Department (SDPD) Lt. Adam Sharki, the stabbings occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Carlsbad Ave. Paramedics transported the suspect, Micheal Major, to the hospital for injuries suffered during the fight with a 34-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene, a 36-year-old man who died of his injuries late in a hospital, and a 24-year-old woman who suffered non-life-threatening wounds. 

Police booked Major on two counts of murder after he had received treatment. 

The name of the victims has not been released pending the notification of next-of-kin.
