The San Diego County Fair announced the 2023 adventure-packed theme, “Get Out There!”, celebrating outdoor exploration.
The 2023 summer fair will take place from June 7 through July 4 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The fair board, officially known as the 22nd District Agricultural Association Board of Directors, announced the new theme one month after producing its first fill-scale fair after a two-year pandemic-induced absence.
“Fair Trailblazers” may participate in several activities, including a scavenger hunt throughout the fair for a merit badge, organizers announced in a social media post. Attendees will be able to celebrate and learn more about California’s national parks, mountains, deserts, and beaches.
“Fair camp “games, sports, and activities for kids of all ages, including kids at heart. Organizers said there will be plenty of opportunities to earn badges and ribbons from arts and crafts to relay races.
Admission and ticketed concerts and festivals are expected to go on sale in March 2023, organizers said.
