The Living Coast Discovery Center opened their Fall and Winter wildlife camp sessions for animal lovers ages 4-12.
Fall sessions commence Nov.22 and continue through Nov.24 for all grade range groups. Winter Sessions are scheduled for Dec.20- 23 and Dec.27-30 with activities for animal lovers in Pre-k through the 3rd grade.
The camps offer animal encounters, games and outdoor activities where kids will discover scenes and conversation while increasing knowledge about local wildlife. Campers will get to meet at least one animal up-close, explore the trails, visit various exhibits, feed some animal ambassadors, practice hands-on science, create recycled arts and crafts, and more.
All sessions begin at 9 a.m. Half Day sessions end at noon and full day sessions end at 4 p.m. It is advised to pack plenty of water, lunch and extra snacks if an all day stay is anticipated. Sunscreen, appropriate shoes, and a hat are recommended.
All campers must register to participate. Visit the Living Coast Discovery to learn more about wildlife camps, schedules, pricing and more.
