A collision in National City killed a teenage girl and an unidentified man by a suspected DUI driver, according to National City Police. 

The incident leads to an intersection on East Plaza Boulevard and Harbison Avenue to shut down Wednesday night until early Thursday morning. According to the department, officers received a call at around 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday that a car driven by an unidentified woman struck two people. 

Police found a teenage girl and an adult man on the ground upon arrival, and the driver remained in the vehicle, NCPD told ABC 7.

Authorities have not identified either of the victims. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man died at Scripps Hospital. 

Authorities said the relationship between the victims is not immediately known, but it is believed they are related. 

Police arrested the driver at the scene on suspicion of drunk driving. Police did not disclose her identity or her charges.
