Gunshots fired at a Bonita strip mall hospitalized two individuals on Sunday afternoon.
According to Lt. Mike Krugh, no life threatening injuries were sustained. Acquaintances of both individuals injured at the incident were driven to a hospital.
Sheriff’s officials report several 911 callers dialing in the incident which occurred at approximately 4pm on Bonita Road near Central Avenue. Callers reported gunshots being fired into a building.
According to scanner traffic, shell casings were discovered by deputies in the parking lot of La Luz Ultra Lounge.
