Chula Vista’s administrative offices are closed on Monday, Feb.21 due to Presidents Day. 

Trash collection remains normal for sites scheduled for Monday. 

Classes for all levels are closed, and schools are closed. This includes charter and technical schools.

​​Parking meters are not paid on this day, but parking is prohibited in front of any red strip reserved for firefighters on the sidewalks, as well as in areas with a blue badge where only people with a label that distinguishes them for different skills can park.

Parks in Chula Vista are open 

Passport Issuance Centers at Civic Center and Otay Ranch are closed today.

Chula Vista Public Libraries will take advantage of the morning hours for staff training but will be open beginning at noon.

Today marks the birthday of George Washington and the legacy of the presidency of all executives in the United States.

Federal and state government offices are also closed today, including the California legislature and courts.
